Common problems with preform molds

1. Bottle mouth flashing refers to the thread at the bottle mouth or mold closure with data forming a thin layer of protrusion. Generally, mold wear constitutes inaccurate mold closure, constitutes excessive data injection molding, and presents flashing phenomenon.

2. Poor preform mold clamping, including poor preform clamping and blow mold clamping. The reason for its composition is similar to that of the bottle mouth flash, which is caused by mold wear.

3. There is leftover material on the shoulder of the bottle, think a ring is embedded there. The reason for its composition is generally due to uneven heating rotation and uneven stretching data during blow molding.

4. There are impurities, black spots, foreign matter, unablated particle particles, etc. in the bottle. The reason for this is generally a problem with the processing of data before injection molding. For example, the cleaning of the mold part will cause black spots on the bottle, the impurity of the data particles will cause the presence of foreign matter, incomplete ablation, and the failure of the filter screen at the mouth of the central distributor will constitute incompletely plasticized particles into the mold cavity, and then there are unablated particles in the bottle.

5. The color problem is said for colored bottles, such as green tea bottles are light green. At this time, you need to pay attention to whether the color is normal. The depth of color has a certain range, mainly depending on the eyes. The color range above or below the color is abnormal color. The color anomaly is generally an abnormality in the operation of the masterbatch, or perhaps an anomaly when the screw rotates and mixes.

6. Bottom deviation means that the injection point does not coincide with the center of blow molding, so that the thickness around the bottle is uneven. There are many reasons for this. Common reasons are as follows: the first may be that the injection mold itself is not good, so that the thickness of the injected preform is uneven. The second possibility is that during the heating process, the preform is heated unevenly, and the composition is not uniform when stretching. The third is the blow molding process, the stretching rod is lowered and tilted.

7. Fluorescence is generally presented with the bottom bias, which means that the screen wall is too thin to observe under the light, and some areas are white and shiny. Such a phenomenon becomes fluorescence. The fluorescence composition is similar to that of the bottom bias. It is often present at the bottom of the bottle and on the shoulders, and sometimes fluorescence is formed when the pressure of blowing is too large.

8. There are bubbles inside the bottle. The main reason for the composition is that the dull and insufficient time is boring, so that the plasticized data contains gas.

9. The bottle will sometimes turn white, opaque, strengthen the ring upturned and other phenomena.
